Group Exhibition, March 2013

Fargo Village, Coventry

The exhibition has been organised to fulfil the requirement of Fine Art Consolidation and Professional Practice module of Fine Art course at Coventry University. The intent of the module was to engage in a self-directed, external project that would contextualise the creative practice in a framework of contemporary art practice. I HAD NO IDEA emerged from a collaboration of seven students of different cultural backgrounds
and artistic interests. 

The aim of the exhibition was to:

  • Promote multiculturalism present at Coventry University School of Art & Design
    by the utilising already existing contextual cohesion of selected works for the
  • Familiarise visitors with multidisciplinary nature of sonic art, live performance
    installation and lens based media
  • Reflect on the coherent strength of the group and create a dynamic narrative as
    a basis for the exhibition
